Adam is an award-winning communications and marketing leader and capacity-builder for the social impact sector, a sought-after collaborator with 20 years of experience shaping culture, shifting policy, and growing more powerful and resilient organizations. At RM, he leads the food systems practice, along with national and regional projects at the intersection of climate, culture and public health. Adam believes that communications belongs at the heart of our changemaking, and that only when we unleash and reimagine our deepest stories can we shape the cultures of health, justice, wholeness and belonging we seek. His approach to our work is grounded in cutting-edge research, ancestral wisdom, and the collective imagination of our clients and community partners.
Before joining Resource Media, Adam was the director of strategic communications at SPIN, one of Pennsylvania’s leading providers of intellectual disability and early childhood services. His re-branding strategy earned the organization top workplace awards, overflow program enrollment and corporate partnerships, including the first-ever Wawa Foundation Hero Award and the launch of the Comcast Disability Digital Literacy Lab. While at SPIN, his advocacy communications work brought national visibility to workforce development and disability inclusion issues.
In previous roles, Adam implemented donor engagement and planned giving marketing strategies at The Philadelphia Foundation, and managed marketing communications and social media at Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Philadelphia’s premiere Latinx-serving human services agency. He has also held leadership roles on the boards of LGBT and immigrant rights groups.
Adam earned a BA in German Studies and Anthropology from Cornell University and was a 2011 fellow with the former Center for Progressive Leadership.
