Remembering Lessons from the Gulf

Industry spin doctors were working overtime in the aftermath of the BP Gulf oil spill to downplay the scale of the disaster and its impacts. The six-month and one-year anniversaries of the spill presented opportunities to help keep the spotlight on the devastation – on people and their health, on coastlines, on communities, on fish and wildlife, on jobs and the economy. Resource Media worked with groups in the Gulf to help people tell their stories, and to help let America know that the oil isn’t gone, and neither are the people it continues to harm.
