Tariq most recently worked as news associate at the Associated Press in Philadelphia. Prior to that, he was an editorial intern focused on digital stories and video projects at Vibe Magazine in New York City and an intern for Brendan Boyle for Congress in Philadelphia where he met with union leaders, supported fundraising and did canvassing. He has also done freelance profiles of musicians for the Philadelphia Inquirer. Tariq has a BA in Broadcast Journalism from Penn State.
