What does it take for a city or state to adopt better building codes? Resource Media took a close look at the building code development process in Washington, DC, which recently adopted a set of new construction standards that are aimed to get builders to pursue more energy-efficient and net-zero-energy projects. In this case study, two DC staff who helped lead the code development process share their tips for how to get strong building codes passed.
